O Christmas Tree

Hi everyone! I thought I would share some photos I took of our Christmas tree and other decorations around the house. We had a slight issue when we first put our tree up. Just as we began decorating it, the entire thing toppled over and several precious ornaments bit the dust. It was all very traumatic. We put the tree back up a few days later and it's been standing upright ever since.

There really is nothing more festive then watching your favourite Christmas films and drinking a big mug of hot chocolate with your Christmas tree lit up in all it's glory.

This year we also made our own gingerbread house. We used to always buy those gingerbread house kits, but last year we decided to build our own and continued the tradition this year. It is so much more satisfying (and very stressful) building your own, however. My sister, Laura is always in charge of the house and built and decorated most of the house. How cute is it, though? I am very impressed and Laura is incredibly proud of herself!

Well, that's everything! I love looking at photos of other peoples decorations and Christmas trees, so I hope you guys enjoyed taking a peek at some of my decor. I can't believe it's already the eleventh of December. This month is just flying by. Tomorrow I'm leaving for New York City for a few days, which I am so incredibly excited for! I cannot wait to arrive and see all the fantastic Christmas window displays and everything!

Do any of you have big plans for the holidays? Let me know! xx
